On which os are you trying to compile? Normally this should not happen with
more recent operating systems.
The os is Debian 3.0 stable. I also get "librt.so.1: cannot open shared
object. Error 23" and the same for libc.so.6. But these libraries exist.
Should this and the following steps be excuted as root or as kolab or as
any user?
