Not a bad idea. If no IMAP accounts were made, it should be reasonably sa=
fe to=20
try out the kroupware branch KMail. But IMAP as used KMail to have it is=20
*completely* broken. This won't be fixed before we start merging stuff ba=
ck.=20
Actually what we want to do is to expand the cached IMAP so one can speci=
fy a=20
synchronization strategy -- always cache (present behaviour), never cache=
=20
(old behaviour), sometimes cache (depending on size etc.).

But when trying out a development branch of a mail client one should obvi=
ously=20
back up everything before giving it a try. Backing up KMail means the=20
directories ~/Mail and ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/imap and the file=20
~/.kde/share/config/kmailrc.
