Running kpovmodeler on a mainly GTK system.

Hello people.
I have been using kpovmodeler for a while on my Slackware system
(-current), of which I only have installed the basic KDE libraries to
support the few programs that need them. All was well till I started
updating KDE, and Qt. The older kpovmodeler stopped working, but
downloading the SVN code, and recompiling made it work again.
Under xfce4, kpm runs well, but there are a couple of items I'm not
sure will cause problems in the future:
1) On startup, I get about 30 messages likeL
kpovmodeler(19057) PMPovrayFormat::registerMethod: Serialization method
for "BicubicPatch" shadows old implementation
I don't really know what they mean, but I've seen many bug reports and
messages which do include those texts, so I suspect this is merely
warning-level?
2) On exiting:
QClipboard: Unable to receive an event from the clipboard manager in a
reasonable time
Not sure what this means either, I've seen several mentions of the
message, but no conclusions or solutions. The main issue is that thanks
to this error, it takes 10 seconds to exit kpm.
3) POV is at version 3.7, and doesn't like the commandline generated by
KPM. Is there any work being done on getting kpm and pov synced again?
Thanks in advance!
John
