Okay, we're really arguing over semantics and vocabulary here.

We all agree that we need to handle this scenario:

Project 1:
A ------>    B  ------>    C --------->

Project 2:
D------>     B   ------>    F --------->

Where B may have tasks defined for it.

Is B a subproject or a task tree that's linked in multiple projects?  Well, 
since a subproject is defined as a task tree that's linked in multiple 
projects it's both.

Just depends on what you want to call it.
