[KPhotoAlbum] Cannot run Demo

That's interesting. The documented behaviour should include /usr/local/share.

If I run "kf5-config --path data", I get:
/home/zing/.local/share/:/usr/share/:/usr/local/share/

What does your kf5-config say?
