Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

After our last email exchange I looked into it briefly, but without immediate 
results. Basically my problem was: in order to get the generic lens info, we 
need to take into account the camera make. Currently, there's only the canon 
hack which takes the info from Exif.CanonCs.Lens.
On other camera makes we would have to identify appropriate fields (and I was 
too lazy/busy to get my hands dirty with that).
