I used

make -i
and
sudo make -i install

This has bypassed the documentation error and compiled what appears to
be a working and stable version for KDE 4.6.1 on KMint 32b Julia 10

I have passed my notes on to the original requester for them to test
my compile steps to verify..and if I can find some one with a  64bit
system to try it out on and will advise.

Looks like who ever packaged this in Debian and thus *buntu took the
Marble if check as a requirement with out investigating it further.

I will see if we can get this in the KMint repos to correct it there
at least...

More as it comes in.
