 This sounds like a bug I filed a while back.  Please have a

 Michael asked me a couple of weeks ago if the problem still
 exists with my instance - Debian unstable with KDE 4.2.4,
 but due to excessively slackness I have yet to run more tests.

 Perhaps you could comment on there with your distro & version
 details.
