* Konqueror
* Bibble Pro
* KPhotoAlbum
* GIMP
* showfoto
* Hugin
* qtpfsgui
* rsync

My workflow is very similar to Shawn Willden's:

#1 Download RAW files from camera using Konqueror (profiles for each camera)
#2 Process RAW files using Bibble Pro (exposition, white balance, crop,
rotation, sharpness, some noise)
#3 Catalog, browse, etc. using KPhotoAlbum
#4a Basic editing with showphoto (support for 16bit TIFF and color management)
#4b Advanced editing with GIMP (editing, cloning, masking)
#4c Panorama stitching with Hugin
#4d HDR creation and tone mapping using qtpfsgui
#5 Backup using rsync
