[KPhotoAlbum] Ubuntu Dapper, XFCE & KPA -> ICE errno 32

Hi!

I'm running KPA 2.2 great on KDE and openBox (Ubuntu Dapper (6.06
beta) )  - but when I try it on XFCE 4, it starts to load, loads the
database but then crashes. I've once seen it show the 'photos are not
sorted' - dialog but then it just dies and reports:

I've tracked this to be something like this XFCE bug:
http://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=0000312 that seems to be
closed (in 2004..)

Anyone, similar issues or ideas how to fix get over this..?
Just wondering if this is a XFCE or KPA thing..

(takes me back to openBox...)
