Jesper, I still can't compile without hacking on the configure, not sure why... Still
exiv2. I might need to scour my system to make sure I don't have multiple copies and
stuff around. FC3 system that's been around since RH5, so I wouldn't make much of a
fuss over it, but I recall at least one other person saw this same problem so I wanted
to bring it up again.

Here's the exiv2 failure in configure:

checking exiv2/exif.hpp usability... no
checking exiv2/exif.hpp presence... yes
configure: WARNING: exiv2/exif.hpp: present but cannot be compiled
configure: WARNING: exiv2/exif.hpp: check for missing prerequisite headers?
configure: WARNING: exiv2/exif.hpp: see the Autoconf documentation
configure: WARNING: exiv2/exif.hpp: section "Present But Cannot Be Compiled"
configure: WARNING: exiv2/exif.hpp: proceeding with the preprocessor's result
configure: WARNING: exiv2/exif.hpp: in the future, the compiler will take precedence
configure: WARNING:     ## ------------------------------------------ ##
configure: WARNING: ## Report this to the AC_PACKAGE_NAME lists. ##
configure: WARNING:     ## ------------------------------------------ ##
checking for exiv2/exif.hpp... yes

Shouldn't it get disabled here? In config.log it says (ignore the truncated lines):

configure:32966: checking exiv2/exif.hpp usability
configure:32978: g++ -c -Wno-long-long -Wundef -ansi -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=500 -D_BSD_SOURCE-W$

Exiv2::Exifd$
/usr/include/exiv2/exif.hpp:287: error: exception handling disabled, use -fexceptions
to enable
configure:32984: $? = 1

But when I compile:

if /bin/sh ../../libtool --silent --tag=CXX --mode=compile g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I.
-I../.. -I/usr/lib/qt-3.3/include -I/usr/X11R6/include  -I/usr/include/kde/ -I./..
