[KPhotoAlbum] sql problem (?)

I've tried reproducing this without any luck.
Might it be that you've tried an older snapshot of KPhotoAlbum, at a time, 
where I had one less entry in the database.

Could you please try and delete the file exif-info.db located in the same 
directory as your index.xml, and tell me if you still see the error after 
this.
