Ack, these would be really nice to have.

Use Ctrl instead of shift and you already have what you want. AFAIKT this
is a kde/qt feature.

For your other suggestions: i like most (if not all) of them, really cool
ideas. Even if some of them would be quite some work i guess. Hope to see
them in a kimdaba version some day.
