[KimDaBa] No picture when filename has "umlaut"

Hi Jesper,

my pictures have filenames with german "umlaute" (äüö).
These files are not displayed, neiter as thumbnails, nor as pictures, when
clicking on the thumbnail.

The output on the terminal windows bails out 

   QImage::smoothScale: Image is a null image

when such an image is tried to be displayed as a thumbnail.

When I rename the file, it gets a thumbnail the next time I start kimdaba.
