| Hi,
|
| I want to start this with the obligatory heaping of praise on Jesper.
| Kimdaba is really quite splendid -- the cleverest program of its sort
| that I have seen so far.
|
| That said -- it could be cleverer. Here are a few feature requests:
|
| 1. Is it possible to import new images while Kimdaba is running? As
| far as I can tell, the only way to do so is to copy new images
| somewhere into the ~/Images/ (or whatever one chooses) directory
| and restart the program.
On my TODO list is the possibility to ask kimdaba to do a rescan. Its not
high priority though, as it is something that can be worked around.

| 2. It would be nice to be able to be able to do more things with the
| set of selected images. For example, it would be very useful to
| be able to copy the set of selected images to some directory.
| Some more examples might be to fire up KMail with the selected
| images already loaded as attachements or Ark with the images
| ready to be included in an archive file.
sure. Low priority for me though. But feel free to join an implement it
(hehe)

|
| 3. In the HTML export dialog, it would be nice if there were better
| control over the type of image file used on the html page. I find
| myself using Kimdaba for all sorts of images, not just the ones
| from my digital camera. PNG images suffer by conversion to JPG.
| One should be able to choose the export file type or tell Kimdaba
| to preserve the filetype of each image.
The HTML generator is high on my list for 1.1
Its as bad as it is due to my lack of HTML knowledge though.

Thanks for your input.

Jesper.
