Bug ID: 295618
Severity: normal
Version: unspecified
Priority: NOR
Assignee: korganizer-devel at kde.org
Summary: dav groupware resource always asks about logging in on
startup
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
Reporter: silver.salonen at gmail.com
Hardware: openSUSE RPMs
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Component: groupware
Product: korganizer
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/535.21 (KHTML,
like Gecko) Chrome/19.0.1046.0 Safari/535.21 SUSE/19.0.1046.0
Build Identifier:
I've added DAV resource-based eGroupware calendar/TODO into KOrganizer.
There are both username and password inserted into the settings, but when I
start KOrganizer, it always prompts: "You are about to log in to the site
"egw.mydomain" with the username "silver", but the website does not require
authentication. This may be an attempt to trick you. Is "egw.mydomain" the site
you want to visit?"
I choose yes and everything is well.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add eGroupware DAV resource into KOrganizer (Akonadi)
2. Start KOrganizer
Actual Results:
Prompt: "You are about to log in to the site "egw.mydomain" with the username
"silver", but the website does not require authentication. This may be an
attempt to trick you. Is "egw.mydomain" the site you want to visit?"
And no possibility to set it to never be asked again.
Expected Results:
Start without the (invalid?) prompt or at least make it possible to ignore it
always from now on.
