agenda layout of egroupware, a good example for layout

Version: 4.8.x (using KDE 4.8.0)
OS: Linux

When you use many different Calendar sources (ie more than one), and one slot
is already occupied by an other users incidence, then you cannot select any
time "behind" that incidence to create a new one at the same time.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Have >2 calendars with a slot say 8-12 occupied by an incidence. Try to create
a new incidence from 9-10.

Actual Results:
You cannot select a time from 9-10 with the mouse or keyboard since the slot is
already taken.

Expected Results:
Have each incidence to cover only 90% of the width of a day so you can still
select a time "behind" the already displayed incidence, a concept that several
other groupware suites are using.

Arrange all incidences in a way that there is always some of the "grid" visible
behind incidences so you can select a time to create a new incidence.
Screenshot of eGroupware layout as example attached.
