Well, well, back to the original post topic:

There is support for caldav and groupdav. There is a groupdav Akonadi Resource
in the KDE pim runtime repository

I have been testing it for quite some time and it is awesome.

Just two issues with it:

It needs Kontact and KOrganizer to recognise deeper Akonadi folder structures:

It needs a bugfix in Akonadi itself in order to changes to existing groupdav
entries and I was told that this would happen in 4.6.3, which was released. SO:
IS IT FIXED.
