Summary: korganizer crashes when executed
Product: korganizer
Version: unspecified
Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: crash
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: korganizer-devel at kde.org
ReportedBy: cazzola at dico.unimi.it
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.5)
OS: Linux
after an attempt of adding a new calendar korganizer has crashed and from that
moment on it is impossible to access to the GUI and to my data. Doesn't a
matter if I launch it from the tray, from the commandline or from the menu.
When I try to launch it I get the following message:
>korganizer
>KCrash: Application 'korganizer' crashing...
KCrash: Attempting to start /usr/libexec/kde4/drkonqi from kdeinit
sock_file=/home/cazzola/.kde/socket-surtur/kdeinit4__0
and the KDE crash handler starts, this is the crash log:

I've tried to cancel the sockets files, the configuration files and to clear
the cache but without success. And, of course, I've also tried to turn off and
on the laptop with the same result
Also to kill all the processes that I thought in someway related to korganizer
(i.e., all the akonadi* korgac kaccess ...) didn't help.
And last but not least this problem affect only my user, root and the other
users starts without problems. Moreover korganizers -o calendar works also from
my user.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
click on the tray icon, or run it from the command line or from the menu
Actual Results:
always the crash handler starts
Expected Results:
the korganizer gui should open
currently I'm using 9 calendars all in local ical files the new one should be
the number ten but no files has been created
