Summary: Akonadi_kcal_resource doesn't find host when there is
no connectivity
Product: korganizer
Version: 4.7
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: korganizer-devel at kde.org
ReportedBy: mikael.salson at gmail.com
Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.3)
OS: Linux
At login time, when the connection is not activated, several calendar
resources, defined for KOrganizer, are not loaded because the host cannot
(obviously) be found.
An error dialog pops up. The error message is "Unknown host <url>: Host not
found", the title is "Error — <name of Calendar> of type KDE Calendar
(traditional)" and I have one error message per calendar that is not loaded.
Since eight of them are loaded this way, it is quite annoying to have eight
popups complaining about an "host not found".
When the connection is active, there is no error, and the calendars are
correctly loaded.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Login without internet connectivity.
Expected Results:
Don't warn about an host not being found when there is no connection.
