Two more pieces of information I forgot in the initial posting.

When the crash happens, the session itself is almost closed, i.e. the
windowmanager has already stopped, the screen is black.

This crash happens since I upgraded from KDE 4.6 that ships with opensuse 11.4
to 4.7 from the "KDE:/Release:/47" repository.
