Summary: event details view behaves strangely
           Product: korganizer
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: reminder daemon (korgac)
        AssignedTo: korganizer-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: nisavid at gmail.com

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

this is for KOrganizer version 4.4.6, which is unavailable in the "Application
Version" selection list.

when the reminder daemon pops up, it seems to determine whether to show the
selected event's details based on whether they were shown last time i used the
daemon, regardless of whether an event is actually selected in the list of
reminders. clicking on an event in the list repeatedly toggles the details
rather than simply displaying the details for the selected event. deselecting
all events does not hide the details view.

is there a reason why the details are sometimes hidden? it seems that no harm
is done by always showing them. the toggling behavior is somewhat unintuitive.
it seems to me that selecting an event should change the details view to
display that event's details, as is done in other KDE apps, rather than
toggling the details view.

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35-23-generic
Compiler: cc
