- Launch KOrg
- Go to File menu/Open...
- Browse to find an ical file on your HD

If no ical files appear on the location you saved them it is most likely that
their extension (.ics) is missing.

The 'Open' dialogue cannot find any ical file without an extension whereas it
should be able to do so anyway (the ical files created in the resources/folder
view are not displayed with an extension on your HD).
