           Summary: errors in ics files are not reported
           Product: korganizer
           Version: 4.4.1
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
        OS/Version: unspecified
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: korganizer-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: silver.salonen at gmail.com

Version:            (using KDE 4.4.1)
Installed from:    openSUSE RPMs

I use remote .ics file in KOrganizer. I now had a problem that the file got
broken somehow. KOrganizer didn't say anything about it, but just showed no
todos or meetings. It took me a while to figure out that the file is broken. It
would make sense to report invalid calendars etc, eg. by showing a red
exclamation mark next to calendar or smth. Hovering over the sign would then
say what the problem is (eg. file parsing error).

In command line KOrganizer reports though:

korganizer(27138)/kdepimlibs (kcal) KCal::ResourceRemote::slotLoadJobResult:
success
korganizer(27138)/kdepimlibs (kcal) KCal::ICalFormat::load:
"/var/tmp/kdecache-silver/kcal/kresources/rdESJWG7zv"
korganizer(27138)/kdepimlibs (kcal) KCal::ICalFormat::fromRawString: parse
error
