It occurs also in RC1 here. Kontact freezes even if I have started KOrganizer
standalone before and I edit an item in KOrganizer. KOrganizer still behaves
normal as before.

I am not sure if that is relevant, but Kontact had the Summary View shown with
the (combined) planner applet on it, so it also accessed KOrganizer's data.
