Read-write support is complete and can be downloaded the project page:

The project is now in the bugfix stage, so any feedback would be much
appreciated.  The developer will be finishing the project in the next week. 
Please post any bugs into the project's issue tracker so that he can resolve
them.

The code has been developed on Fedora 11 and should also work on Fedora 12.  If
volunteers are available, other distributions will be supported after final
release.
