I can't trigger this problem anymore. 

I've had this on two machines with a different configuration (one using
gentoo/portage on amd64, the other using gentoo/paludis on x86).

Now it's gone on both machines, which just recently got upgraded to KDE 4.3.5.

Marking as fixed.
