Summary: Archive Old Entries functionality broken
Product: korganizer
Version: unspecified
Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: korganizer-devel at kde.org
ReportedBy: sabine at kdab.net
Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources
- Launch KOrg
- Go to January 2010 and create two events and one to-do
- Go to File menu/Archive Old Entries...
- Select the first radio button and enter '2010-02-01'
- Click on the floppy disk icon and select a location and name to save the file
on your HD.
- Check the 'Events' and 'To-dos' check boxes if they are not by default.
- Click on 'Archive' button
The events and to-dos are erased but are not archived at all (the archive file
you saved on your HD is empty!)
Also on already existing events and to-dos I got a different behavior:
- Launch KOrg
- Use already existing events and to-dos
- Go to File menu/Archive Old Entries...
- Select the first radio button and enter the corresponding date so that your
already existing events and to-dos will be archived
- Click on the floppy disk icon and select a location and name to save the file
on your HD.
- Check the 'Events' and 'To-dos' check boxes if they are not by default.
- Click on 'Archive' button
- A pop up dialogue appears with the following message ''Unable to delete
incidence Event 'Nameoftheevent': Unknown error. (No items found).''
- Click on 'Ok'
- The pop up dialogue disappear but another appears for each event that were to
the archived
The events and to-dos are not archived at all (if you open the archive file on
your HD you can see that it is empty) and they are not deleted from the default
Calendar (still displayed for January 2010 agenda view but not in month view)
as they should be.
