I am fairly sure the problem is with the kontact planner. I installed karmic
from scratch and the problem was still there! I then turned off the planner and
no longer have any problems (for more than 1 day so far). A further indication
is that if I just start korganizer, the problem does not happen and if I start
kontact and do not go automatically to the summary page at the beginning the
problem also does not happen.
