Screenshot 1 shows purple highlights in the date navigator and as selected area
in the agenda view:

Screenshot 2 shows that no highlight color setting can be selected

Since no highlight color can be selected (although this was possible according
to the manual), I would expect that the default KDE highlight color is used.
But it is not, as this systemsettings screenshot shows:
