If it is visible in Akonadi Console, it should also be visible in KOrganizer.
At least we now know that saving to Akonadi actually worked.

The remoteId being empty means it has not yet been processed by the Akonadi
resource responsible for storing it on disk or server (they should usually do
that immediately unless their storage requires network and you're offline)

What kind of Akonadi resource is it in your case?
(in Akonadi Console, right click the folder -> properties -> internal tab,
field "owner")
