Summary: Korganizer month view usability issue: Switch to 5 row
                    view instead of 6
           Product: korganizer
           Version: 4.1
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: korganizer-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: dumas65 at gmail.com

Version: (using KDE 4.1.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Let my say, that korganizer is one of my favorite apps. But I always avoided
moth-view. It was to complex for my. Today i realized why..

My proposal is to use 5 row month view instead of 6. So, you can increase space
for daily events and solve some usability and orientation problems. I will try
to describe it more precise below. I'm nor usability nor English specialist, so
excuse my for my language.

In my smartphone or in google calendar moth view is very useful. It is easy
understandable. All months are in 5 rows. All paper calendars use 5 rows too.

Why 5 rows are better than 6:
1. 1 row is beginning of month 5 - is the end. In 6 rows months are jumping,
and each month is displayed differently. So there is no fixed position of
beginning and end.
2. You can show only 1 moth (5 weeks). Now korganizer is showing 1,5 moths (6
weeks). And again position of 1 week is not fixed - it can be or in 1 or in 5
row and its disturbing.
3. 5 row view will increase area for day event ant tasks in month view.
4. It will look like standard calendar. It will be easier to switch from paper
organizer to korganizer.
