I definitely second this. This is one of the most important features for me in
a calendar as I have to plan ahead for almost a whole year!
But I wouldn't like it like the mockup image below, as this is not expressive
enough. A good example of how this feature could look like is Lotus Organizer. 
One could add events, see week-long events, and the like...
