all right, works for me.

turns out that the issue for me was actually something else: korganizer
preferred to hide the calendar list from me, so i'd go like
"file->import->import calendar" when trying to incorporate google calendars.

i managed to find the list view now, chose that remote-file thingy, and
everything works nicely.

so, i guess the bug can be closed.
