Events shown in month view should not have such a thick decoration, especially
not below and above the text. The headings (day of month) are too thick. With a
screen size of 1280x800, which I think is normal on notebooks and netbooks,
only 4 events can be displayed in a day field.

Possible Solution: Make events squared again (rounded corners are a waste of
space), use not more that 1 pixel below and above text, show border color only
left and right of text.
