I too tried GCALDaemon (http://gcaldaemon.sourceforge.net/). It seems to work
fine with Korganizer (i.e. logging in and for "all day" appointments) EXCEPT
appointments that have times associated are off by difference of UTC every sync
(so the times "slide" over period of time)
