Just want to clarify. For me this occurence is not dependent on creating the
appointment in 3.5.X and viewing it in 4.1.X

Any appointment I create in 4.1.X gets converted to UTC even if I create it
with my timezone (Europe/Sweden).

Maybe this is because we use Kolab as backend? This also means that the script
in Comment #17 doesn't help.
