           Summary: exceptions from repetitions: add periods of time to be
                    excepted
           Product: korganizer
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: korganizer-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: Wolfram.R.Sieber at GMail.com

Version:           3.5.9 (using 3.5.10, Debian Package 4:3.5.10.dfsg.1-0lenny1
(lenny/sid))
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.26-1-686

Unfortunately, this feature request is a bug also: The exceptions dialog of the
recurrences dialog of the appointment dialog _does_ offer periods of time to be
excepted from the recurrence:

Hitting the drop down arrow next to the exception date offers a calendar to
select from, _and_ plaintext entries like
* next week
* next month.

However, they don't apply. So, to except a whole month, you may need to enter
every individual date and add it to the exception list.

To improve usability, here, a bit, it would be nice if you could add some
chance to select multiple days at once from the calendar, similarly to what
you've given with in kOrganizers main window overview calendar.

Alternatively, some immediate input field where you could enter the exception
period would be helpful too. Especially, if we could enter some wildcards there
too, so that the exception got applied to, say, every year. Or every day with a
leading 2 in it, or every month with a leading 1, etc.
