BTW, it also fails for entries like 
ORGANIZER:MAILTO:Reinhold Kainhofer <reinhold kainhofer com>
which are valid according to the RFC (ORGANIZER takes a URI, defined in rfc 
1738, the MAILTO: uri refers to valid RFC 822 adresses. Section 6 of that RFC 
defines "Reinhold Kainhofer <reinhold kainhofer com>" as a valid email 
address, so that entry should be fine...

I agree that it would be better to have
ORGANIZER;CN=Reinhold Kainhofer:MAILTO:reinhold kainhofercom
but it should not fail the validator.

BTW, that entry was generated by an alarm from KAlarm. David, maybe you might 
take a look at how you set the organizer in a better way?
