Summary: Synchronization with OpenXchange Server does not work
well: double appointments, full-day appointments
Product: korganizer
Version: unspecified
Platform: SuSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: groupware
AssignedTo: korganizer-devel kde org
ReportedBy: thomas.schabetsberger healthatnet at
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
1) Double appointments
When entering an appointment with several team members, the appointment will be shown in calendar and every team member gets an email. Without doing anything, this email leads to an insert of the appointment in their calendar. If they click on "accept", everyone gets an email again, and this will - again - entered as a new appointment into every calendar. The workaround is, just to delete this email, without doing anything, but nobody has the chance to accept or deny an appointment ... and the organizer will not get notified.
I guess, that kmail is not able to find the link between an update of an appointment by email and the already existing appointment in the calendar - so it doubles it.
2) If the duration of an appointment is one full day and entered as full day appointment in calendar, it will be shown as a 2-day event after synchronization with ox.
3) If the duration of an appointment is one full week (i.e. Mo until Fr) and entered in calendar, it will be shown as a 4-day event (Mo until Thu)!
I guess, 2) and 3) has to do with a different interpretation of a full day appointment (from 0:00 to 0:00).
I would be very happy, if someone would fix this bugs. Thanks a lot for this great application !!
