Summary: Copied calendar from kdepim to korganizer appears
correct, but alarms pop up 8 hours late.
Product: korganizer
Version: unspecified
Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: korganizer-devel kde org
ReportedBy: kernel pkts ca
Version: KOrganizer 3.5.5 (Using KDE 3.5.5-0.2.fc6 Fedora-Core) (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
I'm using Fedora Core 6, with KOrganizer 3.5.5. I've also got a Zaurus 5600 PDA, running KOrganizer/Pi 2.0.17.
I initially entered my class schedule on the Zaurus, then copied the calendar file over top of mycalendar.ics on the computer. Everything looks great, the classes are where they're supposed to be, and nothing is amiss.
However, I'm home from school (4:30pm), and a reminder popped up for my 8:30am class. The KOrganizer Reminder Daemon is doing something wrong, because everything looks good in KOrganizer itself.
This is probably a timezone issue, but since 4:30pm here is 12:30am tomorrow in Greenwich (not 8:30am), I have to think that it's trying to compensate for the timezone and failing badly.
I'm including mycalendar.ics as an attachment; it's only got class schedule information, which isn't confidential information.
