I can also confirm Igor's message. 

I get 104 kopete wakeups without MSN. Disabling my GTalk account drops them to
2.8. What's more interesting is that if I reopen GTalk (just the account, not
kopete) the wakeups do not climb back to 100. I tried this several times with
the same result.

WORKSFORME is not exactly a solution as quite a few people have noticed this...
