Summary: MSN service availability (status) site URL not correct
           Product: kopete
           Version: 1.0.80
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: MSN Plugin
        AssignedTo: kopete-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: alessandro.menti at hotmail.it

Version: 1.0.80 (using KDE 4.5.5)
OS: Linux

When you try to open the MSN service availability Web site, Kopete opens
"http://messenger.msn.com/Status.aspx". Microsoft has changed the location of
that page (without providing a correct redirect): the URL should be now
"https://status.live.com/detail/messenger".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set up an MSN Messenger account in Kopete and log in.
2. Right-click on the Kopete tray icon and choose "<MSN account name>->Open MSN
service status site..."

Actual Results:
The browser opens the URL "http://messenger.msn.com/Status.aspx"; the Microsoft
server redirects the request to
"http://explore.live.com/windows-live-messenger?os=other" (a Messenger
promotional page).

Expected Results:
The browser opens the MSN Messenger service status page.

1. The new correct URL for the Messenger status page is
"https://status.live.com/detail/messenger". Microsoft also provides a page
containing the status of all Live services at "https://status.live.com/".
2. If the code has not changed since the "Open MSN service status site" menu
item has been added (see bug 108803), the function that needs to be fixed is
"void MSNAccount::slotOpenStatus()" in "msnaccount.cpp" (see the original
patch: http://bugsfiles.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=11741).
