This happens to me too, but not with Kopete but system bell generated by
Konsole. Every time the system bell notification is invoked 3 times in quick
succession, pulseaudio resets volume to 100% and the _next_ (not the current)
song played by Amarok plays really loud.

So I think this bug should be reassigned to knotify.
