Version:           SVN (using KDE 4.5.2) 
OS:                Linux

In Kopete‘s contact list there is that search bar at the top and it fortunately
has an entry in keyboard short configuration. It is called „Schnellsuchleiste“
in the German version. I think it‘s “Quick search bar” or something. If you
press the keystroke defined nothing happens.

Reproducible: Always



Expected Results:  
The filter/searh bar should gain focus and let you input a term to filter your
contacts.
