My jabber account's password has a "§" and Kopete can't use it (but pidgin has
no problem).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
If I change my password and I choose one without any "$", it works. 
If I change my password and I choose one with "§", Kopete says my password is
wrong.
