Summary: Google Talk cannot disable show events in chat window.
           Product: kopete
           Version: 1.0.0
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Chat Window
        AssignedTo: kopete-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: sshowers at internetconnection.net

Version: 1.0.0 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

I cannot disable show events in chat window under Configure ---> Behavior --->
Chat. I am running an AIM and a Google Talk account. AIM respects the changes.
Google Talk does not. Now whenever I close a chat window (using google talk)the
recipient of my chat receives "user has left the chat".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Add a google talk account. Start a chat. Close the window and see if the
recipient receives the error. (The best way would be to open 2 chat clients
locally and configure each with a separate google talk account) Make sure you
uncheck "Show events in chat window" in the Behavior --> Chat section.

Actual Results:
Every time you close a chat window a notification is sent to the user on the
other end of the google chat that you have left the chat.

Expected Results:
When you close the chat window it should remain silent on the recipients side.
