Summary: does not remember SSL certificate
           Product: kopete
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian testing
        OS/Version: unspecified
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kopete-bugs at kde.org
        ReportedBy: ansgar at 43-1.org

Version: (using KDE 4.3.4)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Today the SSL certificate of my Jabber server changed, but Kopete did not warn
me about it. This makes SSL w/ self-signed certificates useless...

I guess this also means that the "Do not ask me again." from Bug#84629 does
mean "Accept any certificate.".

When using self-signed vertificates, Kopete should remember the fingerprint and
warn if the fingerprint changes when connecting to the server again. Compare
with web browsers that usually provide this feature.
