Hi, i've got a rather interesting situation here. I get the crash every time i
connect to our internal conference running ejabberd 2.0.1-6+lenny1 . I've been
having it for quite a while - several months now - but the quick & dirty fix
for me is a ejabberd restart in the morning, then it works until the next day.
I'm tracking stable gentoo on 3 machines, 2 similar i386 and one amd64. One of
the i386's never had the crash (i use it daily), the other has been crashing
every morning ever since i upgraded to KDE4 (November 2009), the amd64 version
started crashing only a month ago. I'm using them all daily and updating the
world once in a month or so. Tried ebuilds from gentoo testing - no difference.
As far as i can see, USE flags and gcc settings are the same. .kde4 and the
rest of environment has been rsync'd between the PCs. This might be a handy
playground to look for the reason causing the issue and locate the difference
between the "lucky" and "unlucky" systems - is there anything useful i can
collect on them?
