[kopete-bugs] [Bug 228527] Activating the option "Animate on message with open chat" doesn't work like it used to in 4.3.4. Kopete's system tray icon doesn't animate anymore upon receiving new messages on open, unfocused/minimized chat windows.

confirmed still in KDE 4.3.5 (here: also Gentoo).
even more critically, this also happens for new messages that have no open chat
window yet. this is critical because I do not get a single notification about
incoming messages anymore! because of this bug I had to activate the "open
message instantly" option (and so, disabling the message queue) in order to get
new messages at all.
in addition, the animation of the contact icons within the buddy list notfiying
me of new messages has gone (see bug 230840). this aggravates the whole
problem.
